This site seems to have many mixed reviews by users and all of them follow a typical pattern. The website for Match.com is run very well and it is quite easy to use. The interface is user-friendly, but it can seem a little cluttered at time. Match.com seems to love posting gigantic photos of singles in your area on just about every page. If you can get used to that, the site is actually quite nice. This is a quick way to grab your email so that you will be spammed with Match.com messages for months to come. While Match.com claims to do everything possible to help you find your soul mate, they also do everything they can to empty your wallet. With these special features and guarantees, it is almost if they are trying to bribe you to continue using their site for a long period of time. They have obviously hidden these prices for a reason, so this is certainly something you want to keep in mind if you are considering Match.com.
A feature that Match.com offers is the use of a free account. This free account that you create cannot send emails or really do anything to connect with someone, but it does let you search around their site and see how you like it. Again, this seems like more of a sneaky way of getting your email address rather than actually helping you find someone that you connect with. In most cases, it seems like creating a free account would be absolutely useless.

If you begin searching for user reviews of Match.com, you will find that a large number of people did not enjoy their overall experience at the site. These people claim that the sight is awful at helping you find someone within your area and that once you do find someone, there are many problems that can occur. Match.com apparently does not know their geography very well because if you select the option to only see matches within 50 miles, you will still see members from across the country in your list. This can be very frustrating and can give a member false hope. How can you expect to get a date if you cannot see members that are in your area? There are also many claims of “matches” not really being matches at all. If you are searching for a white male between the ages of 30 and 50, why is that you will receive a match for a black male at the age of 65? These types of errors can get old fast and cause many members to look for an alternative site. The general consensus is that this site is a complete waste of time that will not help you find someone.

The users that enjoy Match.com have typically found someone special and are either now married or in a relationship. They claim that after some searching, they found their significant other and are happier than ever. While this is great, it seems as if this is the dream rather than the reality. These users do not come up often, but it does show that there is some hope that you will find your significant other on this dating site.
After taking a look at the price, the website, the features, and a multitude of user reviews, it is easy to see that Match.com is questionable, at the least. It does have the potential to help you find someone, but that is apparently a rare occurrence. You will typically pay too much to enter, be forced to to look through countless advertising emails from Match.com, search through your wrong “matches”, and question your choice for entering this site in the first place. While the site seems promising with their encouraging commercials and professional looking site, it likely will end in disappointment, so user beware.
